Working it out w GoDaddy @ WordPress

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

Check the Skyaak R&D sister site. This is strictly an experiment, in a total state of flux.
We are going to use the WordPress platform as a launch pad for the brand new skyaak.com.
WordPress has all the support, plug-ins, CSS, et al to juice up a world-class site.
For example, GoDaddy talks to WordPress. WordPress is a [...]

About the Skyaak DIY deuce ‘finger flicker’ advantage

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shSyu9yi-9w]
You can just throw your Skyaak DIY deuce exactly like a dart and get pretty good results, or you can introduce the ‘finger flicker’ advantage that increases your torque with less exertion. It’s true. When you place your index finger behind the finger flicker, and flick the unit with your finger just as you toss [...]

A Scary and Exciting day at Skyaak Ent.

Friday, November 14th, 2008

About 150 visitors later, we saw orders for the Skyaak DIY deuce start to appear.
That sounds great, right? Not [...]

Skyaak DIY deuce from 2-D to 3-D to airborne

Friday, October 10th, 2008

You can see the 2-D DIY deuce lying flat under the 3-D customized, doped, cut-out and built units on the left.  On the right the DIY deuce is airborne a split second after it’s ‘finger flicked’ by inventor Michael Gaudet.

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

This scintillating video shows Dylan hot-wiring the Skyaak Ultra-Glow guts. He has placed a ‘pod’ against the disco light so you can see how the pod sucks up the LED light. This discovery lead us to invent the idea of inserting a tiny replica Skyaak inside the shaft so as it travels back and forth, [...]

Monday, September 29th, 2008

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu_hyIKk1Mc]
Skyaak developer Dylan Cooke shows the latest Skyaak R&D advance, an LED light array that enables night-time play.
The request from the Feature Producer at Z Tele for a Skyaak ‘Ultra-Glow’ sent me scrambling into Saskatoon over the weekend to hook up with Dylan, who you will remember is one of the key developers of the [...]
