A couple of days ago I was visiting a friend of mine who happens to own a black light. He had switched it on and we noticed that the Skyaak DIY deuce">DIY deuce lit up like crazy and also looked pretty cool flying around in the dark room lit up with black light.

I decided on the spot that I wanted to catch the image of the Skyaak DIY deuce">DIY deuce barreling through the darkness lit up by black light so I invited my friend over this evening. The deal was: he brings the black light, I supply a nice supper and some beer. He agreed and came over with black light in tow.

We ended up getting some pretty good footage I think. Whatever, it was a fun way to spend an evening!

The Skyaak design: not as weird as you think

When you end up staring at the 2-page download that features the new Skyaak DIY ‘deuce’, you might think it appears incomprehensible at first. How, you will likely ask yourself, does such a strange-looking diagram end up getting formed into a ‘ring-ring’ glider? I’d be the first to admit that it is quite counter-intuitive at first glance.

Most people really find it quite confusing and just plain weird at first.

It’s hard to figure out how to put it together at first because it is just such an alien construction concept.

The wonderful thing is, once you settle down to follow the instructions and actually go ahead and put the energy into building it, you’ll find out it isn’t that difficult to manage after all.

In fact, it is designed in a very specific way that makes it really simple to build once it is understood.

Obviously once you download your copy of the DIY ‘deuce’ you are free to reproduce the design endlessly and continue building Ring-Wing gliders to your heart’s content.

I bet you will be quite pleasantly surprised how much easier it is to construct the model second time around.

Once you get into the swing of it, you might want to think about custom decorating your unit with colored pencils, permanent markers or stickers. Let your imagination run wild…have fun…be creative and see how stunning you can make it!
