Skyaak, rhymes with kayak, is the invention of Canadian artist/designer Michael R. Gaudet.

Skyaak is a ring wing glider that exploits the aerodynamic effect of the circular airfoils that glide perpendicular to the atmosphere, presenting a very slim profile.

The front of the craft presents a circular airfoil with a central weighted fuselage.

The rear of the design features a second ring wing.

When thrust is applied to the Skyaak glider, it flies on a very accurate trajectory.

The design of the ring wings in tandem on a weighted central shaft produces ‘positive incidence’, or lift in flight.

Lift is a good thing in aeronautical design.
